Recycling education as a type of culturalization fo r environmental protection and one of the pivots fo r achievement of a sustainable development is among t he goals intended by Tehran Waste Management Organization. Upon increase of population all over the world and also production of different kinds of waste and due to importance of recycling the materials, r ecycling culturalization among the citizen of metro polises is needed. First, performance and contents indicato rs were reviewed through study of the relevant book s, dissertations, thesis, domestic and foreign papers and essays, search through internet and correspondi ng sites and also view of sample recycling education p arks across the world. Then, the landscape of the s ite, subject of this study in Kashanak Neighborhood was analyzed based on satellite images and existing conditions. In order to determine the needs of the citizens of the said Neighborhood, 100 questionnair es were drawn up and were distributed among the said c itizens at random and then the said questionnaires were surveyed. Integrating the results of the said survey and performance and contents indicators of t he recycling education parks of similar case studies, we could achieve the performance and contents indic ators of this Recycling Education-Recreation Park in Kash anak.
